So early October I took my daughter to experience horse riding as she had requested this for her 16th birthday. Luckily for her I had just been invited to a dinner via Cyplon Holidays to hear all about the Cap St Georges hotel in Cyprus – and guess what ? Yes the hotels owner has stables and many horses just up the road from the hotel and they offer a varied amount of optional experiences.
The hotel is a large resort hotel , with its own little private beach area – clear water , 3 main restaurants , a beautiful pool area – great if you like a long lane swimming with full poolside service.
There is also a lovely spa to relax those muscles and invigorate your mind.
The hotel is 8 mins by car from the nearest local village and worthy of a change of scenery for the evening and to experience local tavernas.
We were staying in one of the panoramic pool suites , comfy beds , large bathrooms and magnificent sunsets.
The breakfast was superb , the Japanese and Italian restaurants were great value and the Greek restaurant was in a lovely location hearing the sounds of sea.
The hotel IMO would suit couples , families and singles looking for a chilled , relaxed hotel with early nights and good food and very attentive service. – There is a kids club , lots of experiences and the sunset horse riding was both wonderful and enlightening for a fraction of the cost you pay here in the UK – An hour and half all told .
I really enjoyed my stay at the Cap St Georges and will return.
